It's by a band called Sublime.Eric Wilson is the bassist.Awesome,awesome in-the-pocket player.Great,full,robust tone,too.

For a non-so obvious example (I mean, not a melody on bass like "Dazed And Confused" or "Money") I'd say the bassline for "Hotel California".
