RR I can't remember who the band was, i think is may have been the Bay City Rollers. The song is either in D or E, I think, don't bother trying to find a tab for it, this sound is all about "Feel" not the notes. The note choice should be easy to figure out by ear after that spend the time to make it "Feel" right. I may have been Starland Vocal Band.

Well, if the vocals are timed something like - "money, money, money...money", I'd be tempted to say "Love Of Money" by the O'Jays.

Ding ding ding! Oh THANK you gweimer.
You are correct sir This has been drivin' me
(more) nutz for hours. I knew the song, but
couldn't find the group/title. It IS the O'Jays
"For the Love of Money". I found somethin' else
interestin'...that bass line was recorded by the big
man himself, Anthony Jackson...with a phaser .

(sample)

...as far as the tab?...my head hurtz .
I'll look for it tomorrow
