Nardis. Solo, 6 string BG

So I decided to string up my 6'er like a guitar last week. I am very happy with it and don't see myself going back to standard 6 string tuning. Got some weird high noise thing going on after uploading it, that is not on the original. But check it out if you like.

e: is there a way to have the video show here instead of as a link? Can't seem to work that out.

What gauge strings are you using for the high B and E?

.36 for the high E (from some old guitar string set, it was the D string). I don't know what gauge the B is - is was originally the high C string that came on the bass. I need better solutions eventually. The bottom four are TI flats.

Actually...maybe it was .26 if it was the D string from a guitar set.

This is fantastic. I've recently fallen in love with jazz (well...about 2 months ago). Bill Evans' Explorations is one of my favorite albums and everything is perfect about it, really.

However, Nardis wasn't composed by Bill Evans. It was written by Miles Davis, for Bill Evans. You should probably change your description to "composed by Miles Davis, made famous by Bill Evans"

Thanks squiresuzuki - I had heard that Miles wrote it, and saw it credited as such, but being that his name is on a lot of songs he didn't write, I thought that one was actually an Evans tune. I did add a note about that in the youtube comments though, thanks
