Need a new Rush

My brother in-law asked me a question yesterday that I could not answer. So I offer it up to everyone here for opinions. He is looking for a "new band" to listen to and what he seems to want most in a new generation of Rush. I offered YES as a suggestion and Dream Theater. But couldn't come up with any others.

Thoughts?

looks like a landslide for Spock's Beard.... unless he wants to wait for the new Rush album, last rumor I heard was this summer for release...

One other that also merit some mention is Kings X. Their earlier recordings are outstanding. A great album of theirs is Gretchen Goes To Nebraska..
