Can someone post some sound clips of just their bass/pre or bass/amp direct so I can hear what some good tones sound like direct? I know they don't sound the same as through a cab, but I want to make my own direct clips to compare and try to get my tone up to snuff. I see lots of clips posted with bands, percussion, etc. but I would just like some tone demos not even really too much playing just where I can really hear the sound you are getting...
This will not be a thread to critique playing or tone, if you know it sounds good, I understand that the computer is not an accurate way to hear it, but I can compare clips I make that I think sound good, and I can tweak mine to sound like yours...
