So far some my favorites are...

The Locust
Melt Banana

Lightning Bolt
Ruins
Some Girls
Atomsmasher
Phantomsmasher
Ancient Chinese Secret
9 Shocks of terror
Orchid
Boredoms

but PLEASE give me more of that stuff.

thx to all

Ha, I'm going to have to check out some of the bands YOU listed. Uhm, let me try:

Controlled Bleeding
Current 93 (might be a bit lighter than what you want)
Gnaw Their Tounges
Men's Recovery Project
Merzbow
Wolf Eyes
The Flying Luttenbachers
Thrones
Volcano The Bear
The Plot to Blow up the Eiffel Tower
Shora
Zeni Geva
Amps for Christ (definatly lighter than the bands you listed, but amazing)
Auto Da Fe (If you like Amps for Christ, it's his wife's band, it's similar, but different, ha)
Heroine Sheiks
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those bands weren't what you were looking for, but I'm only familiar with a few bands on your list.

Thanks a lot, hey!

I will check all of that out. Except Merzbow, I already know Merzbow.

hehe, yeah. If you don't know Ancient Chinese Secret, they are really worth having a listen.

It's just drums, distorted bass and female vocals. very cool

My son listens to Ruins and Melt Banana.

I know Ive heard of Some Girls, Azerus here I come.

Give Meshugga a listen. Anything off of Chaospere or Nothing is sure to satisfy. "I" is also pretty decent, just one long brutal and chaotic 21 minute song. 8 string guitars and fantastic counterbeats.

And for hardcore with bagpipes, Inextremo. Warning: They sing in German. Sieben(7) and Mein Rasend Herz are sure wins.

I hope you dig. Or at least end up with epic fails to entertain your friends with.

Ignore my post completely, I thought you were looking for experimental/noise/hardcore stuff, I think you are actually looking for experimental noise hardcore... heavy and noisey. In that case, the only valid names off my list are:

Gnaw Their Tounges
Thrones
The Plot to Blow up the Eiffel Tower
Shora

I'd highly recommend Shora for this type of stuff, they did a split with Merzbow, that's how I came across them. Super super heavy, and experimental/noise oriented.
