New band I just discovered!

Span. GREAT rock band, I'm really impressed. Haven't heard a thing from them yet I don't totally like.

They're from Norway, and they're apparently on Island records.

I found out about them after doing an exhaustive search for the music backing one of the new Nissan truck commercials.

I googled something which took me to a post on a ad music forum, which took me to the video on the Nissan site,

...Followed by a little more research on the forum; their band website; and finally to Amazon, where I found their record (import) called "Mass Distraction".

GREAT stuff guys...really worth checking out. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's like Aerosmith meets Jellyfish meets The Killers meets Green Day. One cut even has a splash of Floyd thrown in for good measure.
