New band list

Sign in to disble this ad
Brief disclaimer, this thread has probably been started before, and I just couldn't find it...

I was looking for ideas on new bands that are coming out that are worth listening too/paying attention to. These could be solo artists, bands, projects whatever. They could also be established but more fringe oriented bands too.

These don't need to be bass centric bands either.

I'd start the list with 4 bands,

Zozobra, The polysics, The Locust, and Centaur

Check out my new band, we've been together all of 2 weeks. Focusing on creating live improv. We're an ambient/progressive/experimental rock band that improvises live sets from beginning to finish. www.myspace.com/uglyxape

Guys, esp matticus!

Thanks for the responses, I'll check these out asap.

At some point I'll compile a list of this stuff.

Matticus, cool Idea, I'd love to hear anything you record. I've already hit you up for a myspace friend request.

My actual music page hasn't had mp3's uploaded yet, but when I get to it I'll put out the word.
