New band, new song...

Greetings -

I read more here then I post, but I respect your opinions and insight.

Since the older you get, the harder it is to find people to play with, four of us from across the US have started a virtual band. We work on individual tracks and write songs in four different parts of the country. Interesting and challenging prospect, but it's fun.

Overkill on the delay, I must say (hey, that rhymes!).

Yeah, another vote for less processing on the guitar. Between phasing, ping ponging, and delays it's definitely overwhelming the mix, and to me makes otherwise quality music sound a tad amateurish.

I find it hard to grasp the change up with the bass and drums...

I do like the guitar effects though. Either the flange or the phase or whatever it is makes it sound a little too muffled. Could you keep the processed sound without it becoming masked-sounding?
