new band recording, would love some opinions

Hey Guys,

My band is in the process of mixing our debut album and wanted to know what you guys think of the one track we released.

and the song is: "Dont Kid Yourself" (should be the default song) - the other song is an older recording with another bass player.

Not really my type of music mainly because of that type of singing, but it sounds pretty professional and tight. I like ur bass tone, suits the style of music, and u got sum nice little bass lines and licks in ther. Overall really good

Oh and that looks like a nice bass u got in that picture. Is that a warwick thumb?

Not sure what to think about the vocal tracks; seems to be a little busy the way the vocals were arranged. Although I'm kind of particular when it comes to vocals. Musically, you guys are really tight, and I like the way your bass sounds.

Have you guys released anything before? Seems like I've heard you on the local college station.

Regarding the vocals, they are a bit busy but it is the way we intended it to be. - Thanks for the compliments

Prior to me joining the band they had released a 3 song demo (one of the tracks is on myspace along with the newest one) which might have made it to a few college stations, but i wouldnt bet on it, so it might not have been us, but i couldnt tell you for sure.
