New Bass-Only Band

The debut album for the band Bassinvaders came out the end of last month, and I must say, it's fantastic.

The way the songs are arranged is very interesting, a bass for the bass line, a lead bass, and a rhythm bass, then some guest basses at parts. It works very well. Some of the songs are a bit chaotic, but I believe they were going for that sound on those songs.

I think I saw these guys on Rave HD, playing at Montreux. It was AWESOME!

I'm surprised the metalheads aren't jumping all over this.

Found a soundclip on youtube though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LilA34dqcCk. It definately sounds interesting, and somewhere in this project is Billy Sheehan. For those who don't know, this is the project of Helloween's long time bassist Markus Grosskopf.
