I recorded this line when I was playing for only 2 weeks. It's bad quality. I recorded it out of a cheap pair of headphones. My bass isn't very expensive and my amp isnt either. So am I doing "okay" for two weeks?

Pretty good, you have a good sense of rhythm and the notes are pretty clear.

You have a good sense of the beat and the rythm, and keep everything steady. Turn the tone down man :-p... You should also work on muting strings when they're not being played.
