I streamed it on MySpace a few times, pretty good, not terribly heavy if that's what yer lookin for, but alot of good sound-collage stuff like White Pony / Minerva....and a couple useless tracks.

I'm not racing to get it, but I liked it.

I heard a few tracks from it being played at the gym...all I could think was "are these guys still going at it?".

Flogging a dead horse imo, or is that a Pony?

Something I haven't been able to figure out:
Is it pronounsed "Def Tones," or "Deft Ones?"

I picked it up bright and early this morning. Sonically, I think it's their best sounding CD yet (although Around the Fur sounds simply AMAZING too). It's produced by Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, The Wall) and he also did the most recent Jane's Addiction CD which also sounds incredible (but damn, the songs just ain't there...) Anyway, new Deftones is well worth picking up and I think it's waaayyy better than their last recording which didn't do much for me. Overall though, Around the Fur gets my vote because of the incredible songs and almost as good sound quality as the new one.
