We did a limited period free download of our album. On tuesday it goes to being paid download. So far, the feedback/response has been positive and helpful! As a graphic artist used to critique i have taken each bit of criticism (positive and negative) as constructive toward our next recording.
We recorded live as a band and then went back over parts to add overdub, so it is essentially a very close approximation to how our band sounds live. Instead of releasing a rushed unmastered album, we waited and saved all of our change/dollars from shirts and stickers and tips to get it mastered, and now we are saving our paychecks to get it pressed as an actual disc!
This tuesday I have to go in and turn off the "FREE" download-so I just wanted to give anyone here who likes progressive rock a chance to hear it. Thanks again everyone!
Oh yeah-I am personally using a Rickenbacker 4003 through a Sunn/Sunn Cab and a Carvin/Mesa Cab amp with effects on the Sunn side. (Rick-o-sound)
