Pretty frickin incredible. He's definitely taking song writing cues from Josh Homme.

That's tight. Would be a blast to play.

I guess it's "heavy" by pop rock standards but it's funny to me they're marketing it like that. It's good though... Foo Fighters are generally never "bad" but they've put out music I like more than this for sure.

That delay guitar at the beginning and near the end sounds like "Detatchable Penis" too.

Well, it's not heavy compared to say, Baroness, but "heavy" means different things in different styles of music. Dave Grohl is a metalhead and punk at heart, but he writes pop music and injects the appropriate amount of heavy I think.

On my list of best Foo Fighters songs this one comes in 3rd after 1) Everlong and 2) The Pretender.

Pat Smear and Krist joined Dave on stage for a song during a recent "Surprise" Foos show. They did "Marigold".

Their Twitter photo stream is cool too.

I like it. Pat Smear is back in the band, also the new song has a little bit of Rush in it.

Yeah, that's a good song. I always thought the Foo Fighters had a great style of writing music. Just enough "pop" to make em catchy without being too cheesy.

I like "White Limo" better tho. The video is awesome too - it's got Lemmy fer cryin out loud!

That was the my first impression. It lost me after that. For some reason, I am not into the song. I might have listen to a few more times to see if it grows on me.
