I'm just waiting for someone to name a band Fire on High. But yeah the new song sounds good.

To stay within rules on TB, all I can say is that the cut on that page is not something I would ever spend another 5 seconds on. Sounds like a parody of a head-banging metal band in a bad movie.

This band pops up a lot on my Electric Wizard pandora station. Very cool.

I tried to like them, but their performance before Opeth two years ago left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Horribly boring.

But if they are helping advance the Doom/Stoner Metal scene, then that's awesome.
I'll try out the new album. Maybe I'll end up liking it.

This thread was obviously aimed at people who already are familiar with HOF. Sure, there might be a person or two who checks it out for kicks, but mostly it's gonna' be folks who've heard of 'em and are familiar with 'em.

That said, who really cares that a couple of you "only made it through" a little bit of it?

To continue this multi-thread point counterpoint, I watched HOF blow Opeth awaywhen I saw 'em.

New tune sounds great, just like it did when I posted it in the other thread--to be honest, I'm most excited about the headlining tour that's going to follow: I'm sick of watching them play a half hour set!

Ditto. I have yet to see them live, but a full set would be killer.

No one. I just wanted to increase my post count.
