Sounds great 'Chuck!

Can you tell us what your signal chain/gear setup looked like for the session?

Geddy sig through an Avalon. I bent and did reverse slides on the "one" of each measure.

BTW, the next time someone says a Geddy Lee Jazz is "good for the money," I'll say check "There's Hope" and say Geddys sound great period!

They could always say that Woodchuck could make a Wishbass smoke, but that's another issue!

My bad!

I stated that I played my Geddy sig on this tune, but a person at the session said I played a white bass, so it was the Sadowsky RV4. That is all!

Your part is simple and effective, kind of like a nice 'house' bass line that draws more attention to whats goin on on top of everything. Very cool indeed. Not a bad tone either.

Wow! Thanks guys. That song was lesson in discipline for me. No fill ins, runs, or ad libs. Just play the line.

I believe you. IME, one of the hardest things to do is to play the line, and not drift off or sound bored. It is much easier to throw in a fill than it is to keep a simple part funkin'.
