Bruce has some great vocaling going on in the song.
I'm really digging the drums... all Maiden drums are very good, Nicko can really play the drums without relying on smaking the cymbols and stuff like other metal drummers.
Some great prog elements in the song. Very cool Maiden solo. |

I got my 1st bass simply because it looked like Steve's. Squire Bullet - why did I sell it!! Never sell your 1st bass - you will regret it.
My style is nothing at all like Steve's but somehow he is a big influence. I met him once at an Anthrax gig in ' 89 IIRC - really nice guy.
Saw Maiden twice - once in 88 (7th tour of a 7th tour) at Wembley when I could touch the back wall and the other on the No prayer on the road gig again at Wembley - much better position. Both times blew me away...
wow - how off-topic was that rambling |

The guitars seem a bit heavier than normal songs, not that its a bad thing for me tho Icudnt hear harris bass aswell, tho, the clank is there^^ maybe he just got a heavier tone and not as punchy? Sounds great anyway

I like their albums since the restructure of the band in 2000 but no way near as much as when they only had the 2. Maybe I'll feel differently when I sit and listen to the new album. But still today, I don't play Brave New World or Dance of Death nearly as much as the previous ones. Except for the 2 immediately following Adrians sudden departure.

Comingf rom me this is very good since that album is my fav by Maiden (more progressive and a bit darker). I hope the rest sounds like this. Might be the first Maiden album I will buy in quite some years. |

BTW I get a little progressive-sized (is there a word progresivesized? ) X-Factor feeling too.
