Awesome, Paul Turner is doing a great job.

What's the problem with Space Cowboy? Personally, I love the original bassline.

IN MY OPINION, this version of Space Cowboy is lacking what the original had. Paul Turner's bass playing on it is fine, but the guitar part is out of place.

Stuart Zender left after reportedly being involved in a dispute about division of profits within the band. Nick Fyffe, his replacement (you can see him on their Live in Verona DVD, plus the Synkronized and Funk Odyssey album if I remember correctly) left after the Funk Odyssey tour for reasons unknown AFAIK. The bulk of the basslines on the Dynamite album were recorded before Paul Turner got there, either by Rob Harris (guitar) or machine generated.

You can get to these tunes on the Jamiroquai site as well. I think I read that Paul got the gig in April, the same month these clips were recorded. One of my favourite artists. Too bad I missed the show in Toronto.

Will an SR5 sound like that out of the box or is he doing something special? You think that is Parallel or Series setting?

I don't own an SR5 yet, or I would try it out myself.
