Thumbs up

Glad this thread was bumped coz I missed it the first time around. Really good stuff (as usual)!

John, it's really interesting to see you play almost as much with your feet (on the pedals) as you do your bass. I'm so inept with pedals and gadgetry in general, but you really make me want to look into experimenting with pedals. I must look into the lowpass filter.

Also, it's awesome how tight you and Jojo are as well as how clean your sound is. I have a hard enough time getting my Boss OC3 to sound clean. It's a real effort to make sure I don't accidentally play more than one note at a time (ie mute well) when I use that pedal. Are you super conscious about muting etc?

Any chance you guys will bring the show to Japan, especially since your keyboard player is Japanese???

Hey man, I missed some posts here!

Thanks for the kind words, yeah, I worked really hard on playing extremely clean to really get the tones to speak clearly.

We will probably get to japan soon! Maybe even this summer, actually, but it is too soon to tell. Takuya is indeed Japanese, as is my wife, so it's always nice to get a chance to go visit.

Thanks,

John
