Yeah, I'm digging it. First heard of him on NPR, and found the album on Sony's Music Unlimited service.

The first couple of tracks have some amazing grooves on them.

yes, the pino influence was huge with the first few notes for me, i had to buy it immediately, ha

Yeah, I've been digging it for the past few days. I love the similarities between this album and Voodoo, but it's something different entirely, too. One cool cat, that's for sure.

Cool disc. I highly recommend the itunes festival live versions of some of these tunes. A few of them have a bit different approach and Pino is slayin it.
