New Machine Head

Thier new album, 'The Blackening,' is one of the best metal albums I've heard in a long time. Very good musicianship and writing. Some of the songs go past metal into the real of opuses (sp?). If you like metal of any kind I suggest you check this album out.

Just wanted to spread the word!

Machine Head's new album is bad ass! Plain and simple, they've really returned to form on this one.

Every song is really good, tons of great riffing and leads. I like how Rob and Phil trade solos on almost every song.

All in all, I'm not sure it's better than Burn My Eyes, but it's damn close. Best of all I get to see them next week when the open for Heaven and Hell. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new songs sound live.

I wish I could see em with H&H. Bu I did see them with Gojira and Lamb of God. I left during LoG's second song. Not a big fan.

Machine Head was amazing. He isone of the bst front men I'va seen in a long time. He interacted withthe crowd more than mos other acts I've seen. The whole band looked like they were actually enjoying themselves, not just earning a paycheck.
