Duuuuuude. I'm loving this stuff.

The most popular/modern example would be amps for christ, but so far Third Ear Band is the best of the genre I've heard.

Prog fans, seriously, cruise progarchives.com and discover music you didn't even know exsisted.

I'm listening to Third Ear Band's "Elements" album. Four tracks, air, earth, fire, and water... pretty close to captain planet, but the heart is lacking. Awesome kinda free jazz/raga stuff. Insane.

This stuff was created late 60s, but is waaay ahead of it's time. Unreal stuff.
