Mustaine sounded winded while singing this, which happens to everybody sometimes. The Drovers and Lomenzo work well as a band with Mustaine for Megadeth I think.

he always sounds winded.

I heard something about how he actually struggles sing in lower pitch, his voice is very whiny if you've seen old school megadeth like Hangar 18

I have a hard time getting into Megadeth, this clip didn't help. I've heard some great stuff from Chris Pollan, and all I can find out is that he had something to do with Megadeth at some point.

Dave's voice always sounds a lot better recorded than live.

I saw them do this when I went to Gigantour back in September, I thought it was pretty cool then and I still think it's pretty good. I'm a long time Megadeth fan so I'll definitely buy the new album when it comes out.

I heard Wasted Years in there too. I think the first YouTube comment sums it up nicely: "best iron maiden song in years".

I lost interest after Countdown, personally.

As for the song... meh
Then again, the sound is terrible, so I'll reserve my judgment until I hear the CD version.

Finally a real bassist? So DAVID ELLEFSON wasn't a real bassist?

Megadeth is far from in their prime, bummed I'm missing the H&H, Megadeth and Down show though. I'm glad I've seen Megadeth, they use to be my favorite band.

As far as I was concerned, without Ellefson, it's no longer Megadeth.

I like it, I like Gears Of War better though. I agree about the Ellefson part, without him it isn't Megadeth its just Megadave. I'm seeing them in March with Dio and Down!

EDIT: Anybody else not like Drover's solo's? (I think thats the guitarists name?) I really don't like his solo's from GOW or WIN.

So it wasn't Megadave when DAVE Ellefson was in the band?
