New Meshuggah album in March!

Anyone else itching to hear this? Got tickets to see them in April and I'm already predicting album and gig of the year.

And whilst I am chuffed that Animals As Leaders are the uk support, I can't help being a bit envious that the mighty Baroness are set to support in the US. Awesome line up.

^ Really? I thought Dick was still with them?? Will have to dive deeper. Either way, incredibly stoked. Should be in top 5 of the year.

Sidenote: Animals As Leaders are one of the most creative bands to come along in years...why the beef?

Edit: After a quick check, Dick is still with the band. No worries.

No, it's not a beef...I am hugely excited to see AAL, but I love Baroness too and have only seen them once. It's just me sulking because both bands can't support over here.

First I've heard about Lovgren not being in the band anymore...say it ain't so!

AHHH ok I misread :P No worries, where ever tomshad got that info, it seems to be, as Every Time I Die would say, Shinfo. No word from the band or any of it's sites that he's leaving or even planning to.

I have to say, seeing them a few nights on the Obzen tour is still fresh a a daisy in my mind. Jaw-droppingly tight, not a note or a beat missed all night, every night. Tomas and Dick just floored everything within a ten mile radius!

Absolutely killer band and every bit as good live. Can't wait

Man, you guys in the UK are lucky to be able to go watch Meshuggah with Animals as Leaders.
I think I would cry if I got to see that show.
You should consider posting pictures!

I'm not hugely impressed by the leaked tune... just my opinion. I still think Nothing (original), is their best, and Chaosphere is second in my book..

And I'm soooo jealous that AAL is supporting Meshuggah in the UK.... damn...

This is the newest "leak".. Sounds ok to me but markedly less heavy than some of their other stuff. Not that heaviness is everything, but this track seems to have a lot of space in it. It is definitely more dynamic in certain parts than most of their older stuff though.

Animals as Leader: one of the few bands without a bass player that can still get a pass on TB, Love it! Those guys are awesome!

It would be cool if AAL did have a bassist, but Tosin Abasi is just such an incredible musician...it doesnt even matter.

In a few days we'll have Meshuggah AND Mars Volta new albums... my brain will explode, it can't handle all that awesomeness!

AAl are pretty cool too!

Waiting for the proper european leg of the tour...

Just need the mighty Gojira to weigh in with a new full length, and that's my summer of listening sorted!
