The song wasn't too bad, not Metallica-ish, but if it was just some other band's music I was listening to, I wouldn't mind it. It's a shame that James' voice is so gone though, he always seems out of breath to me when he sings, and he's looking quite wierd these days. Perhaps boozing it up again. |

| | | | It's not too bad... at the beginning he said there were no words, so I thought it was an instrumental. I liked it while there were no vocals, but when James came in it sort of ruined the song. The vocal melody is very... uninspired.
I will say that it's good to hear Trujillo doing some nice Cliff-esque stuff. And a refreshing, non-wah solo from Kirk is always welcome. James is simply to damn old to keep up the singing. They should do all-instrumentals or something...
...Or hire Dave Mustaine to give them all a good stiff kick in the ass.

So are the days when their songs were inspiring.
And the days when their songs were inspired by something other than the almighty dollar.

as a band, they are all realy close now, but they should just get off the mainstream and become a jam band in the basement lol. maybe 10 years down the line, release something that sounds half way decent.

This song would be much better with a different vocal melody... maybe they'll change it before they record it.

And believe me, it should and probably will be whipped into shape before it's put onto the album
I'll keep my fingers crossed - but i won't hold my breath for this album

The real question, is Papa Het trying to be Scott Ian?
