But I think it's more Yes-like.

Nice to hear that there are folks out there in this day and age still approaching music from that perspective.

Damn the commercial torpedoes, full speed ahead!

That's pretty sweet. You guys sound really good. I wish my band could sound that good

Although, I like Versitile Residue better. I can feel it a lot more, if that makes sense.

You guys sound really great!!!

Good stuff, JT. I dig your tone, and there are some great ideas in there. Bassmonkeee put it well.. one can hear your influences, but it still sounds like you. Sometimes, the tone is Geddy-esque, but the part isn't, and sometimes vice-versa. And, I mean, isn't Geddy what we're all goin' for, anyway?
I look forward to the full CD!

Prog rock isn't my thing, but I try to stay open to all sorts of things, and I like this song. Great job. Got a bit of a shock when the vocals started, after Versitile residue I thought you guys were an instrumental band.

On a related note, I'm worried about my lack of ability to notice the changing time sigs mentioned above.

thanks for giving it a listen, guys. i really hope to have another one up there in the next week or so. we're talking to mixing engineers, trying to get one lined up so that we can get this shtuff mixed down already.

very funny, bassmonkeee. actually, that's a bit rushing it, don't you think?

gunnar, i hope you were pleasantly surprised. .

Finally got around to listening to it John. Very cool. Although I need to figure out some way to listen to it on a good system with a good sub. Because on my little rinky dink computer speakers, the bass is missing. Bass as in low end, kick drum stuff, not you. So, comments will be held until such time as a subwoofer makes an appearance here. But what I heard sounded great!
