After seeing them last year, I'm betting it will be more spacey and less riff oriented like their first few albums. They felt more like a jam band than a rock band live.

I've heard it's reminiscent of Frizzle Fry.

Oooooh I could go for that too. Their last EP Animals Should not Act Like People was pretty spacey at times, but to me some of best since Tales from the Punchbowl.

I've already heard some new stuff in their live show. It's definitely more like Frizzle Fry. It's very cool.

They have their old, old drummer, Jay Lane. He quit the band right before Suck On This was recorded. So, naturally the new album has that old Primus vibe.

Saw them at the beginning of June here in Charlotte and they played some stuff from the new album, even added in some of the new material into older songs (sick). Needless to say, I'm excited.

I'm gonna try. The Gogol Bordello/Primus show last year was ****ing awesome to say the least, and every other time Les has been through with his solo band has been a top notch show as well. Just got to find someone to go with from down here as my truck wouldn't make it.

There's gotta be another Primus fan in Pueblo.

I was living in NYC last year and saw the Primus/Gogol Bordello show there. It was in a park near the Williamsburg Bridge. Not even CLOSE to as cool as seeing a show at Red Rocks. I've been spoiled.

Can't wait. Have been spoiling myself with the youtube clips of the recent shows. There are some really cool songs coming out.

I remember seeing Primus open for Rush about 20 years ago in Miami. They kicked ass back then, and still do.
