Anyone seen their new music video?

Oh
My
God

I'm not sure if I am offended or mesmerized.

Both videos are brilliant! I love Rammstein... In fact I tried to start up a Killing Joke/Rammstein (dual) tribute band in SF a few years ago, thinking that it was a no brainer, but couldn't find any takers.

I think it's freaking hilarious and rather ballsy.

Catchy song, too.

The uncensored version is out there too...

Be warned, it's not even remotely work safe. In fact, it's straight up hardcore porn.

I bet that within 24 hours, your PM boxes will be filled with requests for links...but yeah, I just saw it. It's safe to say that that vid won't be on MTV or VH1 anytime soon....

As "shocking" as the new video is, it's also become a bit predictable how they've taken to promoting every album with a super edgy music video. Personally, I wish they had the balls to come to the point where they're confident enough let their music stand on their own. I somehow get the feeling doing this takes a bigger pair than making a video full of explicit porn.

Well, at least their drummer looks kinda cool with long hair.

well, in one sense understand what you're saying, but i think you're missing the point of this band. they're entertainers (damn good ones at that; check out their live dvd!)
i really am not a big fan of their music, but i think they're great

Well, that's true I guess, but still, offending people with sexual content really isn't that hard, I wish they'd been at least a little more creative this time.

Also, it's really funny that I'm in Germany and can't view a video by a German band on Youtube without Hotspot Shield enabled due to legal mumbo jumbo.

I dont think that they're not confident in their music, they have every right to be, IMO. It's not like "Aaah we suck, lets make a porn music video and we'll be famous!!"

Thing is, they already are famous, aren't they? Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike them or anything. I quite liked what I've seen of their live DVD. I'm just afraid that they may be becoming too formulaic. Lots of people in Germany, where they've been big for quite a bit longer than everywhere else so they don't come across as "fresh" as for the rest of the world any more, seem to feel the same way. I guess it's contagious or something.

yeah, i was just in germany last month to visit my family. i think rammstein came up a few times when i was talking to relatives and old friends from kindergarten and nobody really seems to like them much over there... of course, i grew up in west germany... they're from east germany... so sadly there's some tension on that note too

I think the uncesored version of Rammstein's new song P***y is too hard for america. So you better not watch it

if you would do it go to Rammstein.de and search for the link. There is only one site that has it for the world wide viewer. Youtube etc. is not able to show it.

can't wait to see them live
