I did a bunch of songs with my friends from Ghost Away. their new record "Siberia" is available for FREE download. I didn't play on every track, but was certainly something different for me playing wise.
if you have the time to check it out, please do. most people are calling it "mix of the more electronic-type Radiohead stuff and Engine Down".
Ghost Away
thanx!

Just listening right now. I'm still on the first track. Usually this style isn't my thing but so far I'm digging it. I like the 8 bit video gamey vibe. Which tracks did you play on?

over all the tones are really good, the bass was a bit boomy in places but not major

the guitarist is out of tune on one song, I did not dig that

the singer is more of a spoken word vocalist and the combo of him singing out of tune with the guitar being out of tune isnt helping

Since the singer is not likey to get better with his intonnation I would have that guitarist tune up, it will also make the vocalist more effective with his style

very respectable effort there

my buddy wrote most of it. i helped out on some bass. another guy did some drums, some vocals, & other things here & there. the guy that wrote it did most of the vocals. his 1st attempt at anything like that.

I listened to the whole thing and I liked it a lot. I thought the bass sounded good tone wise and that you had some nice lines. I couldn't tell if anything was out of tune or boomy but I turned the last 3 or 4 songs down because of a phone call. Nice work.
