Hey all, and happy holidays. I recently recorded a contemporary arrangement of a song by 17th century lutenist Jown Dowland called "Flow my Tears" (no, not the Stu Hamm version...sorry). I heard Sting do a version of it, and for some bizzare reason I got all sorts of ideas going on. Go figure.

(Sting doing it...)

Why I decided to do this, god knows, but enjoy anyway...

nice going, I like all of your arrangements

have you ever listened to Paul Odette ? he is one of the preeminent lute players

I sat in on a masters class where he ran through most of the Dowland repetoire, tons of ideas there.. pre-Bach
