Sounds really good man, it reminds me of the classical guitar playing in a Yes cd. Good quality and good tone, and good song.

Whenever I try to listen to something on putfile.com, I get a message that says, "Playlist file is not recognized".

Maybe it's my browser...

You've got both some good and bad things going on in this clip.

The tone is pretty good, especially as it is fitting for this style. I liked the use of comping under the melody, but the voicings for the chords were fairly simple. If that's what you were going for, then cool... I just like to play a few substitutions in Autumn Leaves that most people I know tend to assume as "standard".

Now, I think there were issues with timing/feel. It seemed like sometimes as you'd concentrate on either the comping or the melody, and the other would suffer.

My advice would be to work with a metronome (not so much on this piece, but in general) and with a good drummer when you can for feel.

I haven't got around to recording it, but I've done a few different solo versions of this tune all inspired by Mike Dimin's arrangement. I will post it if I get a chance to put it to disc in the next week or so.

Very nice! I enjoyed listening to that, especially since I'm stuck at work right now. Seriously though, very nice. Loved the tone. Cool song. Keep it up brother!

Very good piece of music! The timing is a bit iffy in the middle, but when you get that tight, it will be amazing

i'm fairly new to playing chords so they had to be simple heh. i'm taking a course at my high school that should help with voicings n substitutions next year. thanks for the comments

i'm workin on ornithology...i'll have that recorded too, but i gotta figure out how i'm gonna fit the chords in so it doesn't sound cluttered
