I know I need to look up at the audience a bit more and didn't get a say in what gear to use (apart from the bass and chorus pedal obviously) but any other tips and pointers? got a few compliments after so must have done the right thing by a few people!
Cheers
Tim

Like when you go into the low section. Good Metal groove. Like the fact you are going with the fretless in a non-traditional genre. Ballsy.
Just generally need to improve you time and work on intonation a bit in the upper register (like all of us). Good job with the chord voicings they sounded clean which can be tough on the fretless.

I like that it's a thought out and arranged piece, with a live drummer. It's a good avenue for bringing bass to the masses as a solo instrument. echoing above, work on the fretless intonation, but keep at it, I like the range of tones and sounds you are producing.
I guess I would recommend that the upper register parts be incorporated into a faster feel or tempo once you get the fingering nailed down.
Good job overall!
yeah learnt I had to sacrifice looking at the crowd and 'stage presence' for intonation,... practice day before when I tried not to look at my hands was not so good lol
I'll take the tips on board
