hey guys..i just finished mastering my bands new demo. its on my myspace profile at myspace.com/deadseairons . im playing bass and singing on all the tracks. im pretty happy with how everything turned out given that we did EVERYTHING ourselves. i pretty much nailed the jazz bass tone i was looking for but it could definately sound better. we recorded all of the tracks live except for the bass and vox. the drums seem to get lost in the mix a bit but it turned out ok. i recorded my fretless cirrus 5/fender jazz straight through the board into acid pro 4.0. the music is alternative/metal. if you like it you can download it for free as a playlist from my myspace page. we also have a myspace page for the band i just finished if you want to add us. let me know what you think..i know its not perfect and am very open to criticism. thanks- joep |
