Very nice work & pro production. The bass playing was really well done- tasteful, up in the mix and drove the songs. I liked the chimey ric like guitar sound.

The singer is pretty good, fits the music, but not really unique or stands out in my mind, but certainly is good fit for the songs.

Just my opinion.

Great tunes! Love the tasteful 60's feel. Reminded me a bit of Travis, for some reason.
As Barkless Dog puts, the production is pro!

Keep us informed of new releases!

Just listened to the first track...

"Elizabeth Park" is a very clean cut! Nice production and all the levels were square... the bass sat in the mix really well, loved the walk and the breakdown in the bridge; I will second the post about the chimey Rick sound on the guitar... to me it was VERY reminiscent of another SF area group that I LOVE, Jellyfish... do you guys count them among your influences? Overall, loved it!... Very well done and looking forward to hearing the subsequent tracks when I get a chance...

I liked it. Am I the only one that thinks the singer sounds like Tom Petty?

A more distinctive singer would be a big plus, everything else is great.

We actually recorded it in our practice space. Amazing what you can do with modern technology and some decent mics and pre's!

Little too pop for my tastes, but sounds good for what it is and is good work for sure. What was your recording setup?

Thanks, "pop" is what this band is all about!

The basic set-up is a Digi 003 with Pro Tools. The guy who records us has some pretty nice mics, pres, and outboard gear as well. We've recorded the bass a few different ways, but the current fave is REDDI into a UA 1176 into the interface.
