New stoner rock recordings, I need your opinion

We're a Stoner Rock band from Québec and finally recorded some of our compositions. This was recorded on 1/2" reel tape and we were looking for a sound a bit like Kyuss, Funchu, Monster Magnet, that kinda thing.
We used a professional to do the mix and I think he did a pretty good job. We still gotta make some ajustments here and there and do the mastering but before I would like to have you guys opinion on how it sounds overall.

We got some songs on our myspace :

Ill try to post some higher quality mp3s without whatever bad compression myspace uses.

Thanks a lot!

I put a few more song on soundclick which seem to have a nice bitrate and sampling.

I'd like to know mainly what do you think about my bass tone and how well it goes through the mix. Should it be a bit louder, EQed differently?

I recorded this on an Ibanez EDB400 which is pretty "dark" sounding, it kinda lacks punch imo..might be because of the synthetic luthite body. Since then I bought a Stingray from a fellow TBer, if only we had recorded a bit later...

Anyway the bass was going through an Avalon preamp and into a Tascam 58 8 track tape. I cranked the mids and added some treble so it gave my tone some life but I have a feeling it still has room for improvement.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks in advance
