To me, Mike Mills has always been one of those great, unheralded bass players/backing vocalist. I know I can hear his influence in my playing.

Really cool!

I always dug REM (minus "Happy Shiny People" that is )...

I think Mike Mills is a fantastic musician...
I can't stand Michael Stipe...but, hey...I can still love their music...

Their harmonies always had a "Mamas and Papas" vibe to them...don't ya think? BTW...that's a GOOD thing
