new rock instrumental, driving uptempo song

this is my first song post in a long while. i'm curious what you folks think about this. this song was the first time i had live drums broken out into individual tracks. before that i was using either a drum machine or other drum samples that had the whole drum track recorded onto 1 track. let's just say this was a learning experience with reference to trying to mix a drumkit!

anyhow, since i know you're gearslutz, the bass is a fender '62 re-issue P going into a sansamp di. the guitar is a gibson SG into a 1/2 watt zvex tube amp into an orange 2x12 cab mic'd with an sm58. this was the first time for me mic'ing a cab. before this i went direct using a pod xt or other emulator. again, this was a learning experience with mic placement, etc.

my friend played drums and he did an EXCELLENT job methinks.

oh yea, did i inadvertedly rip off tool's 'rosetta stoned' riff.

the tune is here:

thanks for listening!
