-------------------------------
pariah dogs and wandering mad men
barking at strangers and speaking in tongues
the ebb and flow of time and fortune
electrical change is the charging of the gun
(chorus)
it's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit
it's a far cry from the way we thought we'd share it
you can almost feel the current flowing
you can almost see the circuits blowin
one day i feel i'm on top of the world
and the next it's falling in on me
i can get back on
i can get back on
one day i feel i'm ahead of the wheel
and the next its rollin over me
i can get back on
i can get back on
whirlwind life of the faith and betrayal
rise in anger fall back and repeat
slow degrees on the dark horizon
full moon rising looks ever at your feet
(chorus)
"solo"
(chorus2)
it's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit
you can almost see circle growing
you can almost feel the planets flowing
one day i feel i'm on top of the world
and the next it's falling in on me
i can get back on
i can get back on
one day i feel i'm ahead of the wheel
and the next its rollin over me
i can get back on
i can get back on
one day i fly through a crack in the sky
and the next its falling in on me
i can get back on
i can get back on
ohhhhhhhh
i can get back on
i can get back onnnnnnnn |

Genius! Alex kinda laid back on the solo, but I like the feedback-ish stuff. Heck we've got an album coming May 1st with plenty of solos I bet! |

Crud, maybe my brain is just too freakin' overwhelmed by this new Rush stuff!!! | What you're probably hearing is that famous Hemispheres Chord® (F#7/11). One of those cool little Lifesonisms. |

It sounds like a bit of a fusion between their 80s vibe and their 70s energy. I enjoy it! I'm probably going to get the album and try to see them on tour. I've admittedly never seen a Rock band. The only concerts I've ever been to are classical. |
