Hey all, this is my newest solo bass composition. I tried to experiment alot of percussive sounds on my bass after being inspired by the song Helios of Michael Manring.
I just wanted to share this new bass composition with all you crazy bassists fanatic out there hehe
Have a nice day all!

I don't usually watch clips like yours all the way through, because I'm not really a fan of that style of playing. But, in your case, I really enjoyed it. Your percussive punctuations at the pickup and headstock-area "pings" were very interesting. But, what I especially liked were the little melodic sections you revisit a few times (the tapping parts). This makes your composition more of a nice, cohesive "piece" rather than merely a display of intriguing technique. Nice job overall, I'd say. Thanks for posting that.
Great bass too, by the way. As a former Montrealer myself, I can only imagine that you picked up that G&L at Italmelodie (one of the finest music stores for bass gear in Canada, in my opinion). Is that true? |

But I only use it when I do my solo bass stuff. When I play in a band, I use my ErnieBall MusicMan Sterling. |

| | | | The intro bit is crazy, but it seems to settle down into a sort of groove later. I like the tapping too.
Its not something I would have on my MP3 player, but its awesome none the less. |
