Talking New song from band's debut EP!

Hi everybody. I just thought I'd post a link to my band's MySpace and see what everyone thinks of my band's newest recording.
http://www.myspace.com/thesoundofsirensmetal

It's the first song we've put on our MySpace that's going on our EP. We're done recording all of the instruments and just need to add vocals to some of the other tracks.

The track should be the first to play on the page, if not, it's called "The Taste of Amontillado".

Not sure how people on TB feel about tech-metal/hardcore, or whatever our sound is defined as, but I'm open to all opinions!

Enjoy!

I thought you guys were pretty cool I really liked the second song the most, Change of Seperation I believed its called. You guys are from Whitby, Ontario? And I see that you guys have played with the only other band I've heard from Whitby, and not to mention my favorite band, Protest the Hero? Thats awesome.

Thanks for your comments, Pedulla! I'm glad you like us. We'll have an updated recording of Change from Separation on the EP when it comes out. Hopefully you'll enjoy it just as much, if not more.

Any comments on the recording quality of "The Taste of Amontillado"? We've been recording the entire EP ourselves.

And yup, we're from the same Whitby as Protest. They're good guys, and I used to talk to Arif regularly until things really started to pick up for their band. Great guy, and an even greater player.

Anyway, thank you again for your response and I hope you continue to check up on us and hopefully become a fan! We'd greatly appreciate it if you passed the word along to others, as well!

Have a good one

The recording quality was spot on, if you hadn't told me you were doing yourself I would have never known.

Awesome, awesome. That is definitely good to hear! Believe it or not, all we're using in terms of a recording program is Garage Band, haha.

Anyway, thanks again for your response.
