I'm not a fan of the harsher variety of ambient music, but if I was, I'd probably dig it more. Still, I dig the stagnant atmosphere that you can get lost in.

I amplify the line noise generated by my bass and then slap in a random sample hold deal...... if that counts.

Think bleepity bloop computer type noises

Take a listen anyway! who knows you might just enjoy it.

Hehe, like the Jauqo III-X thread has brought to the forefront: some stuff just ain't for everyone

Actually, I've noticed with ambient music that a lack of authenticity completely kills it, no matter what. It'd always sound much better you doing it your way than it would you doing it my way, or me doing it your way. Ambient music is the one genre you usually cannot get away with mass produced junk to satisfy "everybody".

I did take a listen. It's cool. Gets my mom away from the computer haha. Seriously though it's cool you can get those sound s somehow from a bass signal.
