new song from new demo. feedback wanted

hi, me and my band have just finished recording a new demo and it would be nice if you guys could give us some feedback.

the bass playing on this song is a little sketchy, i had the worst hangover ever the day when i recorded the bass so i played some parts laying on the floor jamerson style.

give the song a listen and tell me what you think, i write most of the music for this band so i would appreciate feedback about the song as a whole not just about the bass playing.

I can see the potential of the song, but I guess there are some points that could be improved.

And please, keep in mind that this is just my opinion.

- The change in the song dynamics, around 3:00, could happen sooner, making the song a bit shorter.

- The vocals sound a bit shouted and "all over the place" sometimes. Of course, the quality of the recording is not helping (how did you record it) - and maybe is just a matter of style.

- Bass, Drums and Guitar does not sound very "tight" together (specially during the first part). But that's just a matter of practice, I guess.

- I don't like "over-produced" songs, but it would be nice to have more instrumental layers every now and then during the song, to keep things more interesting.

Anyway, the band is probably very new, and you'll have enough time and to practice and improve yourselves and the song in every way. And as I said, I can really see the potential of the song.

Again, that's just my opinion. I would love to hear what others TB'ers have to say.
