I'm a huge STP fan and Robert DeLeo has been a major influence on my playing/writing...but I'm really not digging the first single too much.

That said, I felt the same way about most of 'Tiny Music' when it was first released, but it grew on me quickly.

Cool. I just heard a clip of between the lines, sounds like U2 (in a good way). I always liked STP, kind of lost track of them after their third album though.

the first single has some pretty good music, but the lyrics are terrible. Either way, I'm sure the disc will be solid.

Same. I've seen them live 7 times now, twice touring the new material. One of the new tracks is awesome, and the other 4 were great beer breaks. I'm def getting the album when it comes out, but I'll be gritting my teeth hoping it isn't anything like their last album. On a bright note, I love the bass lines from Trippin' on a Whole in a Paper Heart.

I got it last night from shockhound.com. I really like it, it has some catchy stuff on it, Robert DeLeo has some kick ass bass lines, all in all a solid record.

I saw STP live a few months ago, they kicked ass! The DeLeo brothers are great players.

Just listened to the new record at Billboard.com, sounds good! Definitely worth buying.

I've been listening to it quite a bit, it gets more play on the mp3 player then the Rush single, and that's saying something!
