Hello everyone.

www.myspace.com/thedialogueband

Talkbass is my favorite place to go on the internet and this is why I must start by posting this music here. I want to know what all my fellow TBers think of my band's new EP.

It is 3 tracks and is available for free download from our MySpace. If you wait a day or so the download will include the album art that is at the top of the MySpace and liner notes.

In 20 minutes or so we are meeting with a director to do some prepro for the music video we are going to shoot for the "single" "Night Owl".

This small piece of recorded music in my collection is by far my favorite. The recording approach and techniques were unlike those we have engaged in, in past time.

Please let me know what you all think.

Justin.

I like the music, pretty reminiscent of the Strokes, in a good way. Your singer annoys the piss out of me though, way to whiny.

Ah, thank you for the Strokes remark. We're big fans. Apologies on the vocals

Thank you so much for the kind words. This is our second EP. The first had 7 tracks and was along similar lines to this material, however, it had much more of a crystal, pop edge to it. We have since then phased that record out.

We were able to record this new record (we recorded 7 songs, mixed and mastered everything and picked the tracks that were really ALL there) for $800, which is extremely cheap. A great friend of ours did it all... engineering, production, mixing and mastering. He is incredible. It's basically an investment in us as friends to allow us to record cheap and get music out for free. We are going to keep going back in every could months and record new material and keep putting out "singles" wth bonus tracks for free download. The record is currently free to download from our myspace www.myspace.com/thedialogueband

Grab it
