If Sublime and No Doubt had a train wreck

recorded at West Beach Studios in hollywood CA (sublime, blink182, bad religion, NOFX, avenged sevenfold)

Sounds fantastic... Granted I'm a bit low in the mix... But what i've realized is that me and the drummer are tight enough to be one big instrument of rythm.

so ya. enjoy our first LP. parts, anyways.

Good job! Singers usually kill a band/song for me and your singer sounds good.

For constructive criticism:

If I could change anything it would be either your drummer or the drum tracks. That first big roll in the first song is....really bad. I'd redo it.

Also, the quick double kick stutter thing that occasionally occurs in the second song really kills the groove for me. Overall, I think harder hits and more pocket would really tighten up the reggae/dub feel and get asses shaking more.

Also, a kick flip to indy grind on the snare rim would be a nice intro.

Sounds good. Like you already mentioned you should be louder in the mix but it still sounds pretty good. I liked the drumming I thought the double kick stuff sounded different but in a good way. The only problem I had was that you aren't loud enough especially for the type of music your playing. Good job though.

Okay, MySpace started working for me again (that was weird). Good stuff! I dig the singer- she looks like a cutie too (that'll sell more records than anything else ) The volume of your bass is pretty low in the mix, but you can still hear the punch from it throughout the songs.

Parts of Cali Dub sound a lot like Evanescence and the opening of 187 reminds me of Journey.
