My band just got out of the studio recently, and the studio did a video of us laying down the scratch tracks for our In Vain. The song is getting remixed, simply because the vocals are just to wet, other than that it came out pretty decent. Anyways take a listen and let me know what you think, and remember, this wasn't a high budget video lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdiYDOOHq_k |

We just got asked to open as direct support for Tantric next Saturday, so hopefully that will be a really good show for us, and we'll gain some more fans |

They're good guys...and their new vocalist just knocks it out of the park live. I got my first chance to see them with him a couple weeks back and was really impressed.
I would have liked to have ridden down, but already had a show booked. We were to play with Obraskai as well as 9 other bands, but they pulled out to play down there...can't say I blame em.
Gimme a couple of months and we should look at a gig swap or two. We're up in Columbia and plan to take next month off of gigging to bang out some new material, but after that we're planning to start looking at a few regional shows and I think we might would make a good mix.

They were a really cool bunch of guys, so we're looking forward to hanging out with them again. I'm taking it yall are playing at the Hard Knox cafe or something like that? What's the name af yalls band? We've played with Decadence and Downcount from Columbia a few times up there and down here. The last time we played in Columbia was actually at Headliners for Downcounts CD release party. Shoot us a message on our myspace when yall all ready to hook up and do some show swaps and we'll set something up! |

Yep, we are doing the Hard Knox show. One one hand...I hate doing the 10 bands in a day thing, on the other hand...we're new, so the chance to get some exposure to a hopefully receptive crowd will be nice.
That'll also be Decadence's final show with their current lineup as the guitarist is pursuing other things. Not sure where they will go from here, but I like what they're doing...I hope they don't pack it in. I know at least one player who might be a perfect fit for them and plan to get them in touch with each other.
Hell, I just missed you at the Downcount show then. I was planning on making it out to see Eric play...he's a monster guitarist, but I had other things going on.
Anyways, Jeff has really changed Obraskai's sound...for the better IMHO. Darker sounding, but more radio friendly at the same time.
But yeah, I'll try and stay in touch to see what we could put together for some home and away jams.

I met him when we were playing with his old band Neverbetter. He is one of my favorite guitarist to watch on stage. Good luck with yalls show next week, 10 bands can be very rough for one night, but like you said it can give you some more exposure! |

| | | Small world. I jammed with Eric a few times as we were putting together F.I.V., and he was getting Downcount together at the same time, so we all had to just do what we had to.
I 100% agree with his stage persona though...for a guy who seems as easy going off stage, he is just a absolute madman when he straps up.
Anyways...enough with the derail!
You guys knock 'em out on Saturday!

| | | Well hell...looks like someone has billed us together on June 4th down your way. Considering the headliner and the location....I do believe it'll be a pretty rocking show.
Looking forward to it!
