Newly Recorded Track, Anyone Care to Listen?

Let me know what you think. There is a little bit of a budget and small indie label behind it. I don't think this is the strongest track on the CD, but it's not the worst either.

The song is "One Night in Paris."

Like the Ska rock influence. Great song, I really liked it. Very tight, nice bass work. I'm not sure I like the weird little minor chord break towards the end, but that's only my first impression.

Your singer is pretty good as well. Great band, nice arrangement. I bet it rocks live.

Dog approved!

I tried to buy your CD from your link and got a message that said you are not set up to recieve money??????

Ouch!

1. Jazz through D.I. to board.
2. Jazz through Fender 800 Pro.
3. Mic'd the cab as well.

Sorta just picked and chose throughout the mix the tone I wanted. It really wasn't necessary to do it this way I think, but it wasn't that difficult either so we weren't too concerned.

Also, thanks for the update on us not being able to receive money. Somebody bought a CD while we were on tour and refuses to work with us on it not getting to him on time. Paypal disputes aren't fun when it's a fan...

That should be fixed soon.

I like it.
If you guys are ever planning to play up this way get in touch with me. There is a big ska scene here.

Will do, although we sort of prefer to play punk rock/ska-core shows since we fit in a bit more.

Also, dig the tunes in your link!

I really dig. it. I'm raeally big into jamacian reggae and ska and when i saw the label "punk/reggae/ska" on your my space i kind of cringe'd(only because i feel some american bands punk bands put ska and reggae in their genre type and they don't give that vibe at all". you and the drummer sound tight keyboards are really nice. on the song "one day". other songs not too much my cup of tea but sound good.

I see you guys are playing the Masquerade in Atlanta that thats my favorite venu here. It's a shame they are tearing it down after this year :_(

I really dig your music I love that type of ska. I've been trying to start a ska band myself but no one I know that plays an instrument like it..

I might go to your show here, although I dont know any of the other bands there. But hey if I have nothing better to do that day I might show up.

I feel you. I'm way into Jamaican Reggae/Ska. Also way into the British 69 stuff as well. It's just much easier to call ourselves a reggae and ska influenced punk rock band, then to get into smaller sub-genres that most people won't know too much about.

I was actually in a band that sound very similar to your band. I brought in the heavy reggae influence but it was just too much 8th and 16th note punk for me and i burned my bridges with them to try to peice together a real reggae/ska band but of course, that didn't work out.. so i'm back to square one... lol. keep up the good work mman, looks like you got quite a bit of gigs lined up rock on man
