No offence, great musicians and good playing, but the overall vibe is very scandinavian. Reminds me somehow of Mezzoforte.

Yeah, I agree - that´s Eric Smiths drumming in a nutshell if you ask me. Brilliant musicians, but I don´t always feel his groove. That being said, I think this was pretty cool, especially the combination with rap...and Frode Berg plays awesome bass, I would more call him a jazz cat than a studio musician

I think frode plays great, he's a really cool dude too. I might have stolen some wine from him once (I have. Sorry Frode!!!).

Frode can funk pretty hard too. Instead of comparing him to american players, compare vinny (the mc) to snoop. Catch my drift??

edit: comparing him to snoop was pretty dumb. But you probably see what I mean. Having said that I think Paperboys (his group) are pretty cool
