I was recommended by a couple of people hear to get Miles Davis' Kind of Blue, and honestly I really like it. I haven't listened to it must but I know I can definitely enjoy listening to it. In fact I'm listening to "So what" right now. Thanks Talkbass for recommending the album to me!

There is at least very cool book written about the Kind Of Blue sessions...IIRC, Ashley Kahn is the author.
http://www.amazon.com/Kind-Blue-Ashl...1173455&sr=1-1

KOB is one of the best-selling records (continues to sell)...yet, in the book, you will see how much Miles' "sidemen" were paid for making this classic.

I like it and respect it even more now that the band is dabbling with "So What" and "All Blues".
